This dysfunction can lead to jaw pain, difficulty chewing, and clicking and/or locking of the jaw, and other peripheral symptoms. Dr. Uhazie can assist with the diagnosis, and non-surgical treatments including the fitting of a mouth guard to manage the TMJ.
